This past christmas I went very retro because I was cleaning out my garage and found some boxes that were left behind from my great grandmother. These boxes looked very old, almost ancient, so I was hoping there would be something amazing inside, a real blast from the past. I was actually pleasently surprised when looking through one of the boxes I found tons of vintage christmas lights and vintage christmas decorations that were from the late 1800's and early 1900's -- some of the lights could not even be used because you could not plug them into any sort of modern electrical outlet. I had to have someone come and look at them and build me a very expensive converter which is most likely a one of its kind and only one on the planet as he said he personally never saw these before. I was the talk of the neighborhood as I brought back a classic look from a past era that many people have forgot about -- these vintage lights and decorations bring tons of discussion and when people drive by they can't help but stare at them -- which is what christmas is ALL ABOUT!
